Smelling salts increase the flow of oxygen to your brain, which kick-starts your consciousness, wakes you up, and increases your focus.
Our specially crafted formula releases a small amount of ammonia gas, which when inhaled, stimulates the membranes of the nose. This causes an involuntary reflex triggering a sharp inhalation, driving oxygen to your brain.
When oxygen is inhaled, it binds with your red blood cells, and is carried throughout your body, supplying you with energy.

SAFETY
The safety of our customers is of utmost importance to us. As part of the development process of VYV, we did extensive research into the safety of smelling salts and ammonia.
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (“CDC”) no adverse health effects have been found in humans from low levels of exposure to ammonia. At higher levels of exposure, ammonia can irritate the skin, eyes, throat, and lungs, causing coughing and burns. Using VYV as directed in moderation should not result in a person reaching high levels of exposure to ammonia.
Smelling salts are commonly used in the world today, most often by today's top athletes, in some of the world's largest sports leagues.
